Biggie Buddha
What I did
I wanted to take the Tupac x Biggie idea further by making a sculpture of Biggie Smalls's head on a Laughing Buddha statue.
I have always wanted to produce a sculpture and this proved to be a big learning curve.
After some research I decided the best way to achieve what I had in mind was to first make a clay model, then make a mould of it in order to cast in plaster.
The final result was not 100% successful but I learnt so much that can only benefit the next step. One of the things I learnt was that the process of making a sculpture is messy!
Eventually I would like to try to cast this in bronze.
